Lake Edge uses components of Creative Curriculum,
Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards (WMELS),
Project Learning Tree, and Project Wild.
We encourage children to be active and creative explores
who try new ideas and think on their own, thus enabling
children to become independent, self-confident,
and inquisitive learners.
Our nature-influenced curriculum model include
learning experiences in the following areas:
Physical: fine and large motor skills
Social and emotional development
Creativity, art, music, and dramatic play
Cognitive development: problem solving, sorting, asking open-ended questions
Linguistic development: letters, numbers, letter sounds

Classes are available to children starting at age 3.
Students do not need to be potty trained to register for our preschool programs
Preschool Hours are 8:30 am-11:30 am

Preschool rates are based on the age of the child and frequency of attendance.
Summer Sessions are offered in June, July, and August

Lake Edge has now partnered with Heckrodt Wetland Reserve!!
The 3k and 4k classes will now be taking quarterly fieldtrips to the reserve, and on the months we do not venture there, they will come on site and provide us with a nature training!

At Lake Edge, we believe that learning doesn't stop when the preschool day ends. Our dedicated teachers work toward providing quality, educational, and nurturing care for all children at our center, at all times.
