Curriculum
Lake Edge uses components of Creative Curriculum,
Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards (WMELS),
Project Learning Tree, Project Wild, and Growing Up Wild.
We encourage children to be active and creative explores
who try new ideas and think on their own, thus enabling
children to become independent, self-confident,
and inquisitive learners.
Our nature-influenced curriculum model include
learning experiences in the following areas:
Physical: fine and large motor skills

Creativity, art, music, and dramatic play

Cognitive development: problem solving, sorting, asking open-ended questions

Preschool Classes- Currently we have a waitlist for our 8:30-11:30 only slots.
Classes are available to children starting at age 3.
Students do not need to be potty trained to register for our preschool programs
Preschool Hours are 8:30 am-11:30 am

Preschool rates are based on the age of the child and frequency of attendance.
Summer Sessions are offered in June, July, and August

Childcare
All children enrolled in our full day program receive the pre-school component.

At Lake Edge, we believe that learning doesn't stop when the preschool day ends. Our dedicated teachers work toward providing quality, educational, and nurturing care for all children at our center, at all times.
